Afous Ghoufous, or hand in hand, is a powerful saying in the Amazigh language in Morocco that signifies the solidarity of the Amazigh people. Hand in hand, the women have overcome many barriers to successfully grow their cooperative and hope that their sales will enable them to make a wider impact on all the women in their village.
This wool striped flatweave is handwoven on a vertical loom. The stripes are imperfect and organic in nature as part of the design. These flatweaves are crafted using locally sourced wool, reflecting the sustainable practices and resourcefulness of Moroccan craftsmanship. The Organic Stripe design is a timeless yet playful design that compliments any room.
