Designed by Artist & Nomad in collaboration with the artisans of the Numedia Tabudrartin the High Atlas Mountains. Before the founding of the cooperative, the women used to work individually in their houses and made their own rugs which are rarely presented for sale. This made them think about setting up a cooperative that could allow them to work together and to exchange their experiences in the pursuit of valuing their products by sharing them with people all over the world. As the cooperative grew, other women joined and the cooperative hopes many more will join in the future
This unique natural wool flat weave has neutral stripes with intricate traditional Amazigh designs woven throughout, mostly using natural dyes such as pomegranate, walnut, tumeric, and madder root. This flat weave can be used as a blanket, decor, or a rug for the floor. It is very versatile and special one-of-a-kind in design.
